I stumbled across a book on tattoos in the library this week. I've considered for a while getting a tattoo (although to be honest I don't think it's something I could actually go through with!) but I never thought that I could decide on something meaningful enough to have inked into my skin permanently. This type of tattoo though, something more tribal, organic, decorative...I love the look of. Swirling, organic lines seem more like a natural extension of the human body than a man-made addition. Don't get me wrong, I love tattoos of all kinds, but these in particular speak to me.
I'd like to do some more pieces dealing with this idea...finger's crossed!
